Austrian couple orders Dutch clothes, gets 25,000 ecstasy pills instead
A couple from Linz in Austria received a quite remarkable wrong delivery. Instead of the clothing they ordered from the Netherlands, they received a package containing 25 thousand ecstasy pills, worth around 500 thousand euros, the Austrian police announced on Monday.
The couple returned the package of ecstasy pills to the post office, who called the police.
According to the Austrian police, the drugs were intended for a person in Scotland. The Scottish police were informed and the intended recipient was arrested.
Given the package's origin, the Dutch authorities were also informed. The investigation into who sent the drugs is still ongoing.
