Three-Michelin Star De Librije back on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants

Restaurant De Librije is back in the top 50 ranking of the best restaurants in the world. The three Michelin Star restaurant in Zwolle was ranked 46th on The World's 50 Best Restaurants list, NOS reports.

Two years ago the De Librije, run by chef Jonnie Boer and his wife Therese, was also on the renowned ranking in 34th place. Last year the Zwolle restaurant just missed the list, making it to 51st place.

The list is compiled by an international jury. The jury praised De Librije's dishes, the fact that the food is adapted to guests' taste, and the fact that the owners combat food waste as much as possible and focus on using local and seasonal products.

Restaurant Mirazur in Menton, France came in first place this year, followed by Noma in in Copenhagen in Denmark and Asador Etxebarri in Axpe, Spain.
