Schiedam residents find strange man in their shower

The residents of a home in Schiedam had a very unexpected guest during the early hours of Monday morning. A stranger came into their home and took a shower. The police eventually removed the man from the shower, the police said on Twitter.

The police responded to the home after a report of a stranger standing in front of the home. When they arrived at the scene, the man was already inside and taking a shower.

Officers took him out of the shower and out of the home, and "guided him to his own bathroom", the police said.

How the man got into the home, is not clear.
