Amsterdam police find body in Keizersgracht canal

A body was found Thursday morning in the waters of the popular Grachtengordel area of Amsterdam. Police were dispatched to the Keizersgracht just after 10:40 a.m., and found the body in the canal near the Utrechtsestraat.

A witness walking in the area made the grizzly discovery and called authorities. Several first responders were sent to the scene, including a trauma helicopter.
