More victims in Gelderland child sex abuse case, Prosecutor says
Anthony B., a 45-year-old man from Maasdriel suspected of sexually abusing eight children, may have abused more underage kids, the Public Prosecutor said in a proforma hearing against the man. He is also suspected of making child pornography with another 20 children, Omroep Gelderland reports.
The parents of all the children who have been identified in B.'s child pornography have been informed. The material features children between the ages of 8 and 15 years.
B. was arrested in July last year on suspicion of sexually abusing five children. While searching his house, the police seized 1,200 hours of child pornography. Late last year the Public Prosecutor announced that the man is now suspected of sexually abusing 8 children.
The suspect was not present at the hearing; many family members of the victims were, according to the regional broadcaster. The suspect has been living in Alem in Gelderland for years and was active at the local activity club for children.
