Man hurt in Amsterdam shooting

A man was shot on Hoekenes in Amsterdam's Osdorp on Wednesday evening. The injured man was taken to hospital, the police said on Twitter.

The shooting happened around 6:45 p.m. near Osdorper Ban, according to Het Parool. The police closed down the street for investigation.

A witness told AT5 that he heard a bang and the victim screaming in pain. "I'm dying!" the victim screamed, according to the witness. Other witnesses told the Amsterdam broadcaster that there were three perpetrators involved, though the police could not confirm this.
