Car of woman missing from Nunspeet found
A 49-year-old woman has been missing from Nunspeet since Monday night. Her car was found pulled over on Elspeterweg, near the Center for Personal Development, on Wednesday morning. The police searched the woods along Elspeterweg on Wednesday, De Stentor reports.
The woman left Nunspeet in her car around 9:00 p.m. on Monday. "She left in an overworked state", a spokesperson for the police said to the newspaper. "Her family is very worried and we share those concerns." The police did not release the woman's name, but did share her photo on Facebook.
The woman's car - a dark blue Citroen Saxo with dark and pink rims and a striking pink steering wheel cover - was found on Wednesday. The police combed the area on foot, on horseback and by car. A helicopter was also seen circling above the wooded area. But there is still no trace of the woman herself.
