Man sick due to possible drugs dumping at Tilburg apartment block

A man fell ill at a apartment complex on Berlagehof in Tilburg on Thursday. Emergency services responded in large numbers, because vats containing an unidentified liquid were found in the complex's container space, Omroep Brabant reports.

The fire brigade took measurements to see if there were dangerous fumes in the room. According to the police, it is not yet clear whether the vats actually contain drug waste. The barrels were removed from the room, and there is no longer any threat, the police said on Twitter.

The man who fell ill is not in a serious condition. He is feeling better and does not have anything else wrong with him, the police said.
