Dangerous German convict escapes from psych institution just across Dutch border

A dangerous and potentially armed man escaped from a psychiatric facility in Germany, just across the border rom Nijmegen, on Thursday, the police in Kleve, Germany warned on Friday. Sources in the institution describe Krischan Fischer as unpredictable and dangerous, ANP reports.

The 35-year-old man attacked another detainee and two employees in the LVR clinic in Bedburg-Hau on Thursday evening, according to the Gelderlander. He then escaped by climbing over a four meter high wall.

The German police launched a massive manhunt, including a helicopter, but so far to no avail.

Fischer is 1.68 meters tall. He is well muscled and has dark blonde hair. He was wearing a purple T-shirt and blue pants when he escaped. He is considered dangerous and the police call on the public not to approach him. If you see him, call the police.
