Man arrested for stealing English Bulldog puppies

A 22-year-old man from Breda was arrested on Sunday in connection with the theft of four chocolate-colored Old English Bulldog puppies from care farm De Mekkerbek in Baarle-Nassau last week, ANP reports.

The Breda police went to the man's home based on a tip and found one of the very expensive puppies there.

De Mekkerbek posted photos of the missing puppies on Thursday, with a call for information. That post was shared over 120 thousand times.

The found puppy was returned to De Mekkerbek, but the other three are still missing.
