Grandparents killed, boy hurt in car crash
A headon collision in Nunspeet on Wednesday left a 59-year-old man and his 54-year-old wife from Hardewijk dead and their 5-year-old grandson injured. A 68-year-old woman was critically injured.
The accident happened on Eperweg on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Telegraaf. The initial results of the investigation shows that the 68 year old woman ended up on the wrong side of the road for some unknown reason. She hit the car carrying the grandparents and 5-year-old boy.
The grandparents from Hardewijk died at the scene. The condition of the boy is unclear.
The 68-year-old woman from Epe was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, according to the Telegraaf. There were two dogs in the car with her, one of which was seriously injured, according to RTL.
