Second arrest in Amsterdam toddler's kidnapping

A second suspect was arrested on suspicion of involvement in the kidnapping of 2-year-old Insiya Hemani in Amsterdam on Thursday. The suspect turned himself in at a police station with his lawyer on Tuesday, AT5 reports. The first suspect was arrested on the day of Insiya's kidnapping. A neighbor managed to overpower him and hold him until the police arrived. The police are still looking for a third man believed to be involved in the kidnapping and Insiya's father Shezad Hemani. The police believe that Shehzad Hemani is behind the kidnapping and that he took his daughter out of the Netherlands. Insiya's parents were involved in a custody battle over her and the matter was set to appear in court the day after the little girl was taken. A neighbor saw Shehzad watching the apartment where Isiya lived with her mother the day before she was kidnapped. The two arrested suspects are in restricted custody, which means they are not allowed contact with anyone except their lawyers.
