Labour MP collapses in Parliament

PvdA parliamentarian Sjoera Dikkers collapsed while talking in the Tweede Kamer, the lower house of Dutch parliament, on Tuesday. The MP was talking on the microphone when colleagues and spectators in the public gallery saw her becoming unwell. Colleagues sped to her aid, but she collapsed. Dikkers quickly regained consciousness and was led out of the hall. According to AD, a wheelchair was brought and Dikkers was taken to the PvdA department in the building. She went home a little later. It is unclear exactly what is ailing her. The other parliamentarians reacted startled. "Luckily she was conscious again quickly and she could laugh when she left the room. we are keeping close contact with Sjura and hope she's back on her feet soon", Marit Maij (PvdA) said to the newspaper. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAZw3QTwjRQ
