Drone pilot acquitted of chasing animals, disrupting nature

A 31-year-old man from Haarlem suspected of intentionally chasing animals with a drone, was acquitted by the police court on Monday, NU.nl reports.  The incident happened at the Oostvaardersplassen in September 2015. A forester reported the man with the drone, who noticed the herd of cattle and deer running wild. According to the court, no evidence could be found to prove that the man acted in a way that was harmful to the animals. There was also no evidence that he deliberately wanted to send the animals running.
