Pokemon Go players catch Dutch car thief

Two Roosendaal residents caught a car thief red-handed while walking the streets playing Pokemon Go during the early hours of Tuesday morning, the police said in a statement.

The 26-year-old woman and 28-year-old man were out hunting Pokemon around 1:00 a.m. when they noticed an unknown man walking towards a car park on Doctor van Bregtplein. They found this suspicious and decided to follow the stranger.

At the parking lot, they found the stranger sitting in the woman's car. He broke open a door to get in. The two detained him and called the police.

The police came and arrested the 35-year-old man and transferred him t the police detention center Mijenbroek in Breda. The woman pressed charges against the man and both Roosendaal residents gave statements.
