28 Belgian kids rescued from sailing ship stranded off Vlieland coast

Rescue organization KNRM rescued 28 Belgian school children from a 52 meter long sailing ship in Vlieland on Tuesday after the ship got stranded. No one was injured, according to the KNRM. The kids were brought ashore and taken to a group accommodation where they spent the night. Crew members remained aboard the stranded ship. The salvage mission was halted on Tuesday due to the outgoing tide. It will be restarted during high tide on Wednesday.
