Trucker saves unconscious woman's life on highway

A truck driver is receiving high praise from local police for saving the life of a woman along the A29 highway. The trucker was cruising along near Heinenoord, Zuid-Holland on Monday morning when he saw a panic-stricken man trying to flag people down for help. The trucker pulled over to the shoulder and found the car driver’s wife unconscious in their car. The quick-thinking truck driver began CPR as emergency services raced to the scene. The woman regained consciousness and was alert by the time ambulance personnel arrived at about 11 a.m., police said. Authorities shared the story on Facebook, and were quick to offer their compliments to the trucker.
