Ashes of stillborn baby stolen in cemetery heist

An urn containing the ashes of a stillborn baby was stolen from the Enkhuizen cemetery last week. The urn was in a safe in the cemetery's office. The thieves took the entire safe, Noordhollands Dagblad reports. The parents are absolutely devastated. The family hopes that the thieves will see their way to returning the urn. "For the same money the whole safe could be at the bottom of the canal", the grandfather said to the newspaper. "If the thieves will let us know anonymously, we will also be happy." The 10 centimeter star-shaped urn was kept in the safe while work was being done on the cemetery's urn wall.
