Report: Ex-KLM CEO Eurlings accused of violent attack on model

A former photo-model pressed charges of aggravated assault against former CDA politician and ex-CEO at KLM Camiel Eurlings. According to the model, Eurlings attacked her at a party last October, leaving her with eye injuries, torn earlobes and a broken elbow, Quote reports. The identity of the victim and the circumstances surrounding the assault are unknown. What is known is that the former model lives abroad and that the assault is said to have happened in Bloemendaal. The assault charges were filed in Haarlem. According to Eurlings lawyer, Geert-Jan Knoops, his client does not want to comment on the matter. "Mir. Eurlings does to substantively comment on this matter, and for that he has his reasons", the lawyer said to Quote. Eurlings himself did not respond to repeated requests for a comment. Following his political career, Eurlings worked as head of the Dutch arm of Air France-KLM, until he resigned suddenly in October 2014. According to Quote, he regularly had contact with photo models during his time at KLM, including presenter Wendy Dubbled. She told Quote that she was not the one to press the charges. "I have nothing to do with this, and I never had a relationship with Mr. Eurlings." she said.
