Amsterdam train station evacuated on bomb threat prank

Police rushed to Amsterdam’s Central Station on Friday afternoon after a young man allegedly yelled out “Bomb!” and threw a bag onto customer service counter in a shop. He then ran off, local broadcaster AT5 reported. When the youth returned to recover his bag, alert bystanders held him until officers arrived, police said on Twitter. A portion of the train station was evacuated during the investigation. The incident happened before 1:45 p.m. with the train station reopened by 1:55 p.m. No dangerous items were found in the bag.

Amsterdam station has been cleared by police. Turns out some vlogger thought it was funny to dump his bag and shout 'BOMB'. Soon on YouTube.
