First Christmas full moon since 1977

For the first time in 38 years, the Netherlands will have a full moon on Christmas, according to Weerplaza. This is only the third time that the full moon landed on Christmas since 19000. The next time Christmas and the full moon collide will be in 2034. The moon was very visible on Thursday night in various parts of the country, but KNMI expects that tonight will be cloudy.
