Breda Brawl: Police round up 13 more suspects in stabbings

The police arrested another 13 suspects in connection with the brawl in a Breda parking garage early on Christmas morning. Five people were taken to the hospital with stab wounds, but none of them had to stay in the hospital after treatment. The five injured people were taken to the police station for questioning after they were treated. A witness told the police that about 20 people were involved in the brawl in the parking garage of shopping center the Barones on Nieuweweg. The police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the brawl, but so far it looks like an argument after a night of partying that got out of hand. The police closed down the parking garage after the fight and searched for weapons and cars of those involved as well as other trace evidence. They also studied the surveillance camera footage. During the course of the morning another 13 people were arrested, bringing the total number of detainees up to 15. All 15 suspects are suspected of, among other things, public violence and assault. They are in custody for questioning. The police are calling on witnesses to come forward, particularly anyone who may have taken photos or video of the fight.
