Amsterdam shooting victim is from Leiden, now in recovery

The victim wounded in the shooting incident on Derkinderenstraat in Amsterdam on Wednesday afternoon, is a 49 year old man from Leiden, the police says. He is recovering in the hospital and is not in life-threatening danger. The police are investigating the shooting, also to find out whether there is any connection to the murder of 37 year old Haydar Zengin in the same building last month. The detectives would like to talk to anyone who has any information regarding either of these shootings.
