Traffic chaos expected in Amsterdam tonight

An Ajax match and two sold out concerts in the Heineken Music Hall and Ziggo Dome is expected to cause an extreme amount of traffic around the Amsterdam Arena tonight, traffic service VID warns. The Ziggo Dome and Heineken Music Hall will be opening their doors at 6:30 p.m. The Editors and the Foo Fighters are playing in the music halls and both concerts are sold out. The Ajax vs the Turkish Fenerbahce match kicks off at 7:00 p.m. Ajax has called on supporters to come early and use public transport as much as possible, Het Parool reports. In addition to all that, the Rijkswaterstaat is also working on the A2 tonight. The main highway lane towards Utrecht will be closed from 9:00 p.m. - around the same time the two concerts and the football match end.
