Norwegian flight makes emergency landing at Schiphol Amsterdam
A Boeing 737-800 of airline Norwegian had to make an emergency landing at Schiphol airport in Amsterdam around 9:10 p.m. on Monday night.
A spokesperson for the local safety office told Het Parool that the plane "landed without any problems".
The aircraft was en route from London Gatwick to Kopenhagen when smoke appeared in the cabin, according to the newspaper. The smoke resulted from a "small electrical fire", according to the spokesperson. No one was injured and there are no indications that the fire was set on purpose.
