About 7,500 kg of fireworks seized in tiny Drenthe village

The police seized some 7,500 kilograms of fireworks at a business on Kanaalstraat in Roden on October 27th. According to the police, the business in question has a permit to legally sell fireworks in December, but they had stored the fireworks in a hidden room in the business building. The space is not designed to safely store fireworks and they were therefore confiscated. A report has been filed against the 32 year old business owner.
