Three more arrested in asylum seeker harassment case

Three more people have been arrested in connection with the attack on the emergency refugee shelter in Woerden earlier this month. According to the Public Prosecutor, they are suspected of involvement in the storming of the sports hall on Steinhagenseweg, during which eggs and illegal fireworks were thrown. The incident happened on October 9th, around 10:45 p.m. The 11 people previously arrested in this investigation have all since been released, but remain suspects. The investigation is still ongoing and the Public Prosecutor expects that there may be more arrests.
