Dordrecht boy found dead in house, father missing

The body of a 4-year-old boy was discovered in a house on Frida Katz-erf in Dordrecht on Tuesday night. The boy's 34-year-old father, the resident of the house, is nowhere to be found. According to the police, the boy's body was discovered by the father's girlfriend. She immediately called in the emergency services, but it was too late to save his life. The police have launched an investigation due to the circumstances in which the child was found. The boy's father was not present in the house and officers are searching for him. The area around the house was closed of and a forensic investigation was done inside the house. The boy's mother has been notified. His 6-year-old sister is unharmed.
