Police find €200k in counterfeit bills in parking lot arrest
Two men were arrested in a parking lot Waalre on Tuesday afternoon after the police discovered 200 thousand euros in counterfeit bills in the trunk of their car.
The car was standing in a parking lot along the A2. Patrolling officers decided to check the car and found the counterfeit money in the trunk.
Both men in the car, a 36 year old man from The Hague and a 47 year old man from Cameroon, were arrested and taken to the police station for questioning.
The car and the counterfeit money were confiscated. The police are investigating to find the origin of the money.
