Eastern Netherlands braces for storms, hail
Friday morning started stormy with heavy showers for the east and southeast of the country. According to Weerplaza, up to 30 milliliters of rain fell in some places, accompanied by thunder. Thunderstorms are also expected for tonight and Saturday night.
Afternoon temperatures for Friday are expected to range between 22 degrees on the coast and 28 degrees in Limburg.
This evening will once again bring heavy rain in the east and southeast of the Netherlands. This may be accompanied by hail and there is a risk of flooding.
The rain will clear up on Saturday morning and sunshine is expected for the whole of the country. Maximum temperatures will range between 21 and 25 degrees with a moderate wind from the north.
