Toyota recalls over 20,000 cars over firmware issue

Toyota has recalled 20,477 cars in the Netherlands because they require a software update. According to the Japanese company the cars' current software could adversely affect their driving performance, NOS reports. The cars involved are the Toyota Prius Wagon and the Toyota Auris from the production period between May 2010 and November 2014. The software update will take about half an hour and Toyota will carry the costs. Owners of the affected cars will be informed personally.
