First Valkenburg john appears in court

One of the suspected clients in the Valkenburg teen prostitution case appeared in court on Monday - the third day of the trial in this case. He is the first suspect to willingly testify in court in this case. The man told the judge that he had no idea that "Kimberley", the 16 year old girl in the case, was underage. He calmly told the judge about his experience with prostitution. He prefers to have sex with 21 year-old women. "If they say they are younger, they must be very nice. Normally I see the difference between a girl of 16 or 21.", he said, AD reports. The man told the court that he sees a prostitute 6 or 7 times a year. He prefers going to a home prostitute rather than a legitimate club, because "the owners of these clubs are the big grabbers, they don't have to do anything for their money." The man did not notice that anything was wrong when he hired "Kimberley", until he got a call from the prosecutor. The Public Prosecutor initially wanted to demand a 10 month prison sentence, 4 of which suspended, against the man, but after his testimony revised the sentence to 8 months, half of which susepended.
