Architectural marvel to house Feyenoord next

The new Feyenoord stadium is set to be an architectural marvel. Two global leaders in architecture have teamed up to design the stadium. The football company will also get a budget of 100 million euros for the project, the Telegraaf reports. Rotterdam resident Rem Koolhaas' Office of Metropolitan Architecture, OMA, is the world's most famous developer of iconic buildings and urban projects, according to the newspaper. And Arup is the world's most highly regarded consultant in the field of highly complex construction projects. These two global players are prepared to work with the municipality of Rotterdam and Feyenoord to develop the most impressive stadium known to the European football world. This project will take a lot of work. The entire area around the current Kuip will have to be redesigned. Zuid-Rotterdam will have to be upgraded.
