Police: crime suspected in Amsterdam woman's death

The police found the body of a woman under suspicious circumstances in a house on Joseph Israelskade in Amsterdam-Zuid on Tuesday. Officers suspect that the woman had been murdered. One man was arrested at the house on suspicion of involvement in the victim's death. The police have not released any information about the woman's identity as of yet. Neighbors witnessed the man's arrest. "I saw that a man was taken away with bloody hands, it all looked very strange. A woman and a man lived in the house, I think he did something to the woman." a boy on the street told AT5. "I briefly saw them once", another resident said to AT5. "They seemed a bit like sloppy people, I must admit. Very friendly people, though. I was just driving up here and then there was a lot of police. Then the man was pushed up against the wall, he looked a bit confused, then he was taken away pretty quickly."
