Drunk man arrested after train conductor assault

A drunk 24 year old homeless man has been arrested in Schagen for assaulting a conductor on Thursday. The NS conductors tried to check the man's ticket, but he did not have one on him. The man started spitting and screaming. He was asked to leave the train at the station in Schagen and was there detained by NS special investigating officers. The man attacked one of the NS officers at the station, beating him. The NS officers called the police, who came and arrested the man. He was visibly under the influence of alcohol.
