Two held in the Hague for woman's murder
The police is doing a large scale investigation into the death of a 53 year old woman from The Hague who was found severely wounded in a home on the Zuidwal in The Hague on Friday. Two people have been arrested.
Police officers found the severely wounded woman around midnight on Friday night after responding to a report. Their attempts to save her life failed and she died a short time later. A 52 year old woman and a 45 year old man who were present in the house at the time were arrested.
The police immediately launched an investigation. Detectives of the Forensic Investigation department did trace evidence investigations in and around the home all through the Easter weekend.
The two arrested suspects are still in custody and are currently being questioned. At this stage it is not yet clear how they were involved in the woman's death.
