Sex workers' association refused Triodos bank account

Tiriodos Bank refused to open a bank account for the interest group for sex workers PROUD, RTL reports. The bank informed PROUD of its decision in a letter. PROUD represents the interest of sex workers and former sex workers in the workplace, society, media and politics. The group chose Triodos bank because it advertises itself as being involved in the community. "And to our great surprise we were refused!" the organization stated on Twitter. The reason for the bank's refusal is that it will not provide services for "businesses that find their activities in pornography".
