Murdered Amsterdam criminal's wife dies in Suriname

The life-partner of assassinated Amsterdam criminal Marchano Pocorni passed away in Suriname early Monday morning.

An article that was first published by local newspaper Dagblad Suriname and then taken over by Crimesite.nl, reports that the 34-year-old Danielle M. probably died of natural causes in a house at Volleybal straat in Paramaribo. There were no signs that there was foul play.

Danielle M. was in Suriname for Pocorni's funeral.

Pocorni was assassinated in a club in Northern Paramaribo on March 3, the latest in an ongoing underground war in the Netherlands. He had been linked to the killing of another Amsterdam drug criminal Najeb Bouhbouh in Antwerp in October 2012 and his killing appeared a settlement.
