New arrest in Amsterdam houseboat robbery, stabbing

The police yesterday arrested a second suspect in the attempted houseboat robbery on Panamakade in Amsterdam. The investigation is still ongoing and the police expect that there may be one more arrest. The attempted robbery happened on January 29th. A scuffle ensued and three people were injured, including the two 52 year old residents of the houseboat and one of the robbers. The robbers fled without stealing anything. Shortly after the attempted robbery, the police received word that one of the robbers had reported to a hospital emergency room with a stab wound. The suspect was arrested after his surgery. Both suspects remain in custody.
