Portugal, Spain, Austria win best holiday destination awards

Dutch people who went abroad for holiday in 2014, gave Austria the best rating. This is according to holiday review site Zoover, based on 2.8 million ratings. Dutch holiday goers gave Austria a score of 8.18. Portugal came in second with 8.17 and Spain came third with 8.03. France performed less excellently and came in 10th place with a score of 7.88. France was the most popular holiday destination last year. A holiday in the Netherlands itself came in 5th place. The average rating for a holiday is 8.15, slightly better than last year's 8.12. Holidaymakers who booked a "Bed & Breakfast" were the most satisfied. Those people rated their stay an average of 9.17. In terms of campsites, the Netherlands got the best ratings with an average of 8.4. Austrian campsites followed with 8.2 and Italian campsites came in third with 7.9. Zoover has been keeping track of holidays appreciation based on feedback from holidaymakers since 2006. Here follows the list of the Top 10 holiday countries:
