High winds expected in latest Code Yellow weather warning

The Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI) has issued a Code Yellow warning for high winds, mostly in the coastal areas. Heavy gusts can be expected this morning, with it calming down slightly in the afternoon. Gusts of 80 to 95 kilometers per hour can be expected along the west coast, with the highest values in the far northwest. The wind will temporarily decrease in the coming hours, but the high winds will be back by tonight - again mainly in the coastal areas. The probability of heavy winds will continue until Thursday, KNMI reports.
