Reveal corruption report, don't leave FIFA: Dutch football chief

KNVB chairman Michael van Praag does not agree with the idea of German manager Reinhard Rauball that European football association of UEFA should sever ties with FIFA. "I think it's a strange proposal", Van Praag said in the AD. "I'm not even interested in whether it can be done, but it seems like a dead end." Rauball, who as chairman of Borussia Dortmund is president of the Bundesliga, made this threat because FIFA does not want to publish the whole report on the allocation process of the World Cup of 2018 and 2022. This report was done by Michael Garcia. The world football association only published a summary by Hans-Joachim Eckert, chairman of the FIFA ethics committee. The KNVB also wants the full corruption report published, but Van Praag considers it important to first know all the facts before taking action. "That is the issue. That Mr. Rauball calls for something, well, he's not even a member of UEFA, let alone of FIFA." Eckert and Garcial will discuss the report on Thursday.
