More remains found at MH17 scene
The repatriation of MH17 will today take the remains they found to Kharkiv. The personal belongings secured at the scene will also go for a first forensic check.
No work is being done at the crash site today. According to Pieter-Jaap Aalbersberg, leader of the mission, there are currently no tasks for the small team. For further work more forensic experts and heavy equipment will need access to the crash site.
The talks between the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the local disaster relief SES on salvaging the wreckage are still ongoing.
