Over a third use cloud computing

According to Statistics Netherlands, one in three of all internet users aged 12 and older use cloud computing. Cloud computing is recent internet service that is offered to users for storing and sharing files and information directly on the internet instead of on a personal computer. Of people aged 12 and older who used the internet in the last three months, 35 percent of data was stored on the internet. Free cloud space is offered with software on a tablet or smartphone. Younger internet users more often use a cloud service than older internet users. The use of cloud computing increases with the level of education. Cloud users typically have more internet skills than non users. The difference in internet skills partly explains the difference in cloud computing between young and old.
