Trains cancelled after lightning strike

Last night the train track was hit by lightning, leaving no trains able to run between Den Dolder and Baarn. The problems on the track at Baarn have not been solved yet. Buses are being used on this route. According to the NS, there may be a delay of up to an hour. The NS cannot yet say when the problems on the track around Baarn will be resolved. Tracks between Zwolle and Kampen were also hit by lightning yesterday, but there the trains are running again. Train traffic in the rest of the country has hardly been affected by the bad weather. There are only minor delays. The morning rush hour on the road is not much busier than usual.
