"God is Good" postcard with ISIS beheading confuses many
Card maker Boomerang angered many customers with the release of a controversial postcard. The postcard shows a drawing of a ISIS fighter beheading someone, accompanied by the text "God is Good".
Cinema chain Pathé, amongst the postcard distributor's largest clients, announced that the flyers with the ISIS images were removed from their locations. "Something insulting does not belong as part of a night out," said a spokesperson.
Boomerang defends the card, which also depicts a crucifixion, gallows and the burning of someone at the stake. According to director Remko Dunkirk, the card puts the deeds of ISIS in historical perspective. "You have to see it as a statement with a double layer. Our highly educated target audience understands it."
