Netflix raises price on Ultra HD video subscription
Netflix has increased the price on their Ultra HD subscription by about 30 percent.
Users who want to watch films and series in ultra HD resolution will now pay 11.99 euro per month. Netflix produces its own series in the increased resolution. They also offer series from third parties, such as Breaking Bad, in ultra HD.
The increased price is only applicable to new subscribers. Existing subscribers will pay the same monthly fee (either 7.99 or 8.99, depending on when they subscribed) until August 12th 2016.
