Murdered bros. charity ripped off in executive fraud

The former president of a foundation for the murdered brothers Ruben and Julian stole 3,000 euros from their charity, RTV Utrecht reports. The money was intended to set up a monument for the boys who were murdered by their father last year. Foundation RuJu collected 11,000 euros last year with various fundraising events. Former chairman Remco M. paid 3,000 euro of that money into his personal account because he was having financial problems after renovating his house. M. denies that he stole the money and calls it "an urban legend story that consists of false information", Het Parool reports. Last year the boys Ruben (9) and Julian (7) were found dead after two weeks of searching. They were killed by their father. On the website the foundation states that their aim is to "realize a tangible and lasting monument so that these boys and other young children who have been the victims of violence will never be forgotten."
