Dog rescues elderly man from robber

A elderly man in Etten-Leur was saved by his dog from being robbed on Monday. The tale of the heroic dog happened around 1.00pm, when the 84-year-old man walked out of his backdoor to find a masked robber in the backyard. The unknown assailant dragged the old man back inside and demanded money. Little did he know that his victim had a ferocious dog inside though, who was ready to show that he was the man’s best friend. The animal attacked, planted his teeth in the robber’s leg and chased him out. The assailant ran empty handed. The elderly man called police who searched the neighborhood, but they found no trace if the robber.
