Fourth arrest in 2012 gang execution

The police have arrested another suspect in the ongoing investigation into the killings in Staatsliedenbuurt in Amsterdam. Two men were killed in December 2012 and the police were shot at with automatic weapons. The 44 year old man arrested earlier this month is the fourth suspect being held for this case. Another suspect was arrested in Morocco last year. The double killing in Staatsliedenbuurt is part of the crime wave in Amsterdam's underworld. Over the past year and a half at least seven people have been murdered. A suspect in this case was shot and killed last week.
